An original watercolour and mixed media collage painting featuring a lilac Gibbon dragging a cloud of flowers, balloons and objects forward. The gibbon leans into the task, determined to keep going. Hidden in the cloud of objects are a mushroom, two strawberries, a pear and a carrot. This painting is an ode to women who carry the mental load, juggling kids and work and household management, constantly multitasking, and keeping everything going day in and day out. Playful details and marks are added in ink and gouache. Hand painted on Arches Aquarelle 300gsm Cold Press 100% cotton archival quality paper.
