This painting is part of my “Word of the Year” series. This year, I did not make any New Year resolutions. But I have, unintentionally, ended up with a “Word of the Year”… and the word that kept coming back to me was “Brave”. So, my first attempt at being brave is that I’m going to do a small painting every day until 31 January, and offer it for sale at a very low price. The paintings are “word of the year” paintings. Small and simple, but original. Hand painted.

I want people who normally wouldn’t buy original art to be able to buy them. I want them to find new homes where they will sit quietly in a corner, maybe on a dressing table or a windowsill, and remind the owner of their word for the year.

Signed and dated on the back.
