Nothing But Sky – Original Mixed Media Painting

Head tipped back and arms reaching skywards, a lilac gibbon swings joyfully through an imagined landscape of oversized flowers, accompanied by two purple butterflies, in this exuberant original painting by Catherine Jennifer.

Vibrant yellows, warm corals and bright blues bring the floral world to life, while loose, expressive line and brushwork adds movement, texture and playful energy. The gibbon seems completely absorbed in the moment, celebrating the simple pleasure of letting go and swinging freely among the flowers, with two purple butterflies fluttering nearby.

Full of colour, character and optimism, Nothing But Sky is a joyful piece of contemporary art for anyone who loves expressive animal paintings and imaginative floral landscapes. It brings a little sense of freedom, wonder and everyday happiness into your home.
